"I recently completed my Ph.D. in management. As I approached the dissertation phase, I did so with trepidation, because I had never used SPSS before. A colleague suggested that I ask Dr. Larry Pace to tutor me on the use of SPSS. He agreed to work with me and I am very thankful that he did. Larry has a very unique, non-intimidating style of teaching. He guided me through SPSS without ever touching the keyboard. This forced me to jump into the “lion’s den” and learn by doing. He is very knowledgeable about the use of SPSS, but more importantly, Larry has tremendous expertise in research methodology, particularly statistical analysis and interpretation of data. My successful completion of the dissertation is due, in large part, to my mentor – Dr. Larry Pace."

"I would like to personally thank Dr. Larry Pace at TwoPaces.com for assisting me. I was truly worried until Dr. Pace gave me the understanding and guidance needed to feel more confident to complete my course. His deep passion for the subject matter made it easier for him to convey the concepts in layman's terms; even for someone like me who found statistics difficult."
- CL, Ph.D. Candidate (NC)
The primary focus of my research over the past 10 years has been statistics education. I have the ability to explain complicated statistical concepts in understandable terms. I write statistics books that people can actually read. I have developed a method of teaching statistics that uses the principles of cognitive learning theory to make learning and teaching statistics as painless as possible by reducing statistics anxiety and building confidence.
I like helping other people with their statistics problems! One of my professor friends called me her "personal statistician." Over the years, I have taught thousands of statistics students and helped scores of people with the research design and statistical analyses for their theses, dissertations, and research studies. I also provide online tutoring services for undergraduate and graduate students struggling with their statistics courses. I frequently assist fellow faculty members and businesses with various statistical analyses.
My expertise includes basic, intermediate, and advanced/multivariate statistical analyses. My particular areas of strength are data structures, data entry, descriptive statistics, exploratory data analysis, nonparametric tests, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, multiple regression, analysis of covariance, multivariate analysis of variance and covariance, logistic regression, data reduction techniques including factor analysis and principal components analysis, item analysis and scale construction, and cluster analysis.
My services include advice on research design, statistical methods, data entry and cleaning, and help with specific statistical software packages. My services are reasonably priced, but they are not free. Before we agree on a price, I will be happy to examine your dataset and research questions and quote you a fair price. After we agree on an approach, a due date, and a price, I can work with you in any combination of the following approaches.
